Facilitation Skills for Leaders is an introductory course for people in organizations who want to learn how to change their behavior so that they can help their workgroup or team grow and perform more effectively. Working in groups or teams requires managers, supervisors, leaders and workgroup / team members to learn those skills and put them into practice. This class is your first step in the process of understanding, creating, and applying the principles of facilitation to your work group or team.
You will learn and apply tools to help you simplify complex ideas and provide planning for the problem solving process. You will assess your facilitation skills and learn to overcome your (and others’) obstacles to change. You will be able to plan and facilitate productive meetings and use communication skills and intervention to help your team or work group progress.
